Hrubá Voda: Hotels and Accommodation

In Hrubá Voda, the range of specifically named attractions extends from a bobsleigh track designated for year-round operation to nature trails, water and play areas, and a medieval castle ruin.

Activities

The bobsleigh track at the Hrubá Voda Resort is intended to operate year-round. Its total length is 851 m, and speeds of up to 40 km/h are possible.

Kamzíkova stezka is a treetop course with climbing elements, slides and a rope maze 13 m above the ground.

Nature and Educational Trails

Naučná stezka skřítka Hrubíka is over 1 km long and offers seven learning and play stations for families with children. It is accessible year-round. Its themes include the surrounding nature, the forest, and the local fauna and flora.

Hrubíkův lesopark includes a 2 km educational trail that leads downhill to a water park at the end. The forest park also has a bird area with wooden observation points where children can watch birds in the treetops.

At the southern edge of Hrubá Voda, the Údolí Bystřice area also extends into the left part of the Bystřice Valley.

Play Areas

Dětský park skřítka Hrubíka includes a play pool, a dragon playground and an underground maze. This maze consists of two tunnels called Klára and Libor.

History

Hrad Hluboký is a medieval castle ruin. Hrad Hluboký was damaged during the siege of 1426; the site has been considered abandoned since 1447.

Location

The Hrubá Voda Resort is just a short walk from Hrubá Voda railway station.
