From Žlebské Chvalovice, panoramic views stretch for dozens of kilometres from the southeast to the northwest; the ridge also offers views to the north.

Routes and Access

A hiking trail passes through Žlebské Chvalovice, climbing to the Krkaňka ridge and continuing to Lichnice. Žlebské Chvalovice can be reached via the Čáslav–Třemošnice railway line.

Culture and History

The Chapel of the Holy Cross was solemnly consecrated on 21 June 1931. It has a bell tower with a bell that previously stood in the village square. The Chapel of the Holy Cross in Žlebské Chvalovice commemorates local people who fell in the world war. A memorial plaque commemorating the victims of the First World War is located at the chapel on the main road in Žlebské Chvalovice.
