Part of the Včelákov area lies within the Železné hory Protected Landscape Area.

Culture and History

The late Neoclassical Church of kostel sv. Máří Magdaleny was built between 1844 and 1848. After 1928, its wall decoration was created by the local priest Jan Kohel. The Boží hrob in the church is unveiled to the faithful at Easter.

The Baroque statue socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého in Včelákov dates from 1740. Original log-house architecture has also been preserved in Včelákov.

In the centre of Včelákov, the flooded Žumpa shaft reaches the surface. The shaft is concreted at the surface and equipped with a pump. The educational trail “Stopy ležácké tragédie” points to the proximity of the burned-down settlement of Ležáky.

Paths and Activities

Cycle route 4120 from Vysoká nad Labem to Čachnov passes through the Včelákov area.

The Sušidla sports complex has three courts and a football pitch.
