Úherčice: Hotels and Accommodations

The Úherčický sekáč is a regularly held competition in mowing a meadow by hand in Úherčice. Mowers from various parts of the Czech Republic regularly take part; the 2026 edition was the 11th annual edition.

Culture

Úherčice is home to a hexagonal chapel of the Virgin Mary. The local history includes the Rozpakov fortress site, which is recorded as an archaeological trace. Rozpakov Fortress was founded toward the end of the 14th century and fell in 1520. Its remains lie on a rocky promontory surrounded by two streams.

Cycling route 4208 passes through Úherčice. It connects Heřmanův Městec with Vápenný Podol.
