Rvacov: Hotels and Accommodation
Rváčov combines a protected landscape with a dense village setting featuring a church, crosses, and traditional architecture. The southern part of the village lies in the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area. Its purpose of protection includes preserving a harmoniously balanced cultural landscape with a significant proportion of natural ecosystems.
Culture and Village Character
The Church of St. Nicholas has been protected as a cultural monument since 3 May 1958. Its present appearance dates from 1886. As a distinctive landmark, it is surrounded by traditional folk buildings.
The Kříž u č. p. 31 cross stands within Rváčov on a bend near the main road on the left-hand side and by the original old school. At the Kříž na křižovatce k Petrkovu cross, the stone base was restored in July 2014; the site was also redesigned. The cross is located at the intersection on the outskirts of Rváčov in the direction of Petrkov.
The Kříž při cestě na Veselý Kopec cross is located at the edge of a private property at a lookout point with a beautiful view and a simple wooden bench. The two-storey pillar-shaped wayside shrine Boží muka also has niches.
