Landscape and Trails

The Kurvice stream flows through Bousov. West of Bousov, a pond lies along the course of the Kurvice stream, while picturesque forests of the Iron Mountains stretch east of Bousov.

Bousov belongs to the Železné hory microregion, whose best-known landmark is Lichnice Castle Ruins. In the Železné hory Protected Landscape Area, numerous marked cycling and hiking trails lead through forests, meadows, ponds, fields, and small settlements. A marked local cycling route also runs through Bousov.

Culture

The Bousov Municipal Library is located in the municipality’s multifunctional building. It preserves historical books bearing the logo “Obecní knihovna Bousov” and cooperates with the district library in Chrudim through a circulating collection.

Traditional events with a florist are held under the auspices of the Bousov Municipal Library. The library also organizes children’s drawing competitions.
