KosoÅ™Ãn: Hotels and Accommodations
The first written mention of KosoÅ™Ãn is found in a document from 1292, by which King Václav II founded Zbraslav Monastery.
History and Culture
A brick bell tower in the form of a small chapel has stood in KosoÅ™Ãn since 1907. The chapel with its bell tower and statue of Christ is designated as an architecturally valuable building. KosoÅ™Ãn also has a cultural center.
Sports and Recreation
The KosoÅ™Ãn multi-purpose sports complex is open to the public daily during operating hours. The sports complex includes an athletics track and a multi-purpose court. Sports shoes with smooth soles are required for the athletics and multi-purpose areas.
Cycling
In March 2025, two new cycle paths along roads II/315 and II/317 were opened for use in Choceň and partly also in KosoÅ™Ãn. A planned cycle path connection between KosoÅ™Ãn and Zálšà along road II/317 is to connect to the new cycle path between Choceň and KosoÅ™Ãn, thereby connecting further municipalities with national long-distance cycle routes No. 8 (Severnà magistrála) and No. 18. In these areas, the new cycle paths contribute to safer and smoother travel for cyclists and pedestrians.
Geographical Location
A second-class road from Choceň to LitomyÅ¡l runs through KosoÅ™Ãn. KosoÅ™Ãn also has a bus connection.
