Mistrovice: Hotels and Accommodation

Mistrovice lies in the foothills of the Orlické Mountains and has elevations ranging from 397 to 591 m. At 591 m, Židův kopec is the highest point in the municipality of Mistrovice.

Landscape

Židův kopec can be reached via a farm track from Hubálkův statek No. 112 or via a footpath from Malův kříž on the road to Sloupek.

Paths and Views

There is a viewpoint at U lipek near Malových lip, at an elevation of approximately 537 m. U lipek can be reached via a farm track that leads from the road by house No. 50 past houses No. 154, 48, and 49 towards the hill. The viewpoint is accessible via a farm track followed by a footpath a few hundred metres long.

The Jablonné nad Orlicí–Letohrad hiking route also passes through Mistrovice.

Nature

The Sutice Nature Reserve lies between Mistrovice and Verměřovice on the right bank of the Tichá Orlice and forms part of the Orlice Nature Park. Protected flora occurs in the reserve, including the lady's-slipper orchid, spleenworts, and common ivy.

Culture

The Church of St. John and Paul in Mistrovice is a Neo-Romanesque building dating from 1876. The church has been protected as a cultural monument since 1998. It is a filial church of the Roman Catholic parish of Letohrad, and services are held there regularly.
