Vraclav: Hotels and Accommodation

The Vraclav Baroque complex includes the Baroque Church of St. Nicholas. As a pilgrimage church, it is a Baroque cultural monument dating from 1724–1726 and also the dominant building in the Baroque complex. Visitors can admire the unique collection of Baroque sculptures inside the church.

The Baroque complex also features an exhibition of Baroque polychrome-painted wooden sculptures. Visitors can also see the hermit's dwelling there; another exhibition is dedicated to Vraclav's rich history.

The historic sacred landscape includes Fráterka, a wooden hermitage dating from 1692. It stands on the slope between the former spa building and the church. The hermit of Fráterka collected and dried herbs there. At the well on the main road, visitors can draw water from the hermit's jug at any time.

The Vraclav Hradisko is a prehistoric and early medieval hillfort and a significant archaeological site in category ÚAN I. It still served as an administrative centre in the first half of the 13th century. Remains of a defensive rampart are visible at the Hradisko.

Vraclav developed in the outer bailey area of the Přemyslid wooden castle of Vratislav, which protected the so-called Trstenická stezka route. A monument dating from 1908 in Vraclav commemorates the murder of leading members of the Vršovci family in 1108.

Spiritual Circular Trail C runs from Vysoké Mýto through Vraclav and back. It is just under 20 kilometres long and includes nine sandstone plaques.
