Nature

The Bohuňovský vodopád is a small, two-tiered waterfall on a stream beside a forest trail towards Veselka. The Liščí stezka is a forest nature trail in Bohuňov. The Naučná stezka k Bohuňovskému vodopádu is also a forest nature trail in Bohuňov and leads to the Bohuňovský vodopád. At the waterfall, the stream’s water volume decreases significantly during dry periods; the waterfall can be experienced at its full force especially after heavy rainfall.

The first written mention of Bohuňov dates back to 1382. The present-day Church of St. Giles was built in 1820–1821 in the Empire style. It houses fourteen Stations of the Cross depictions from the first half of the 19th century; the creator is unknown.

On the left-hand side of the road from Bohuňov to Vítějeves stands a sandstone cross stone with a double relief of a Latin cross oriented towards the west. A traditional firefighters’ ball is held in Bohuňov.
