Malíkov: Hotels and Accommodation
Malíkov is situated in a wooded area between Moravská Třebová and Městečko Trnávka. Several original farmsteads have been preserved in the village.
Culture and History
Behind the houses in Malíkov stands a statue of the Holy Trinity. The first written mention of the village dates from 1270. The name Malíkov is derived from the personal name Malík and means “Malík’s possession”. Historical German names are Maliksdorf and Moligsdorf; Moligsdorf has been used since the 17th century.
Malíkov also has the “Malíkov,,náves” bus stop, served by the IDS IREDO transport system.
Landscape and Surroundings
The Bohdalov-Hartinkov Nature Park is located in the vicinity east of Malíkov. It was established in 1996 over a total area of approximately 6,265 hectares to protect a landscape of aesthetic and biological value with numerous important landscape features.
Paths and Places
The Kvíčalov/Kvíčalka Scout Camp is located in the forest between Malíkov and Ludvíkov. Kvíčalov/Kvíčalka was formerly known as a forest settlement visited by day-trippers. From Rozstání, you can walk through the forest to Malíkov and on to Kvíčalov.
Leisure and Events
The Srnčí Leisure Centre in Malíkov was equipped with a tennis court, a nohejbal court and table tennis; its facilities also included mini-golf, a swimming pool and a children’s playground.
In 2024, a grant application submitted by the cultural commission for cultural events in Malíkov, including “Mother’s Day” and “Children’s Day”, was approved.
