Svojanov Castle is one of the oldest royal castles in the Czech Republic. Together with historic churches, memorial sites, and several educational trails, it defines the specific sights around the town.

Culture and history

The Church of St. Peter and Paul stands on a hill above Svojanov and was completed in 1788. Since 2019, commemorative plaques honoring notable personalities from Svojanov have been installed and ceremonially unveiled along the “Children of the Lion” memorial trail in Svojanov Square.

Boží muka is a historic stone monument above the Korýtka settlement, on the way to Svojanov Castle via Mount Pupek.
