In Borovy, the Chapel of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is a late Baroque building; at the same time, it is the center of the annual pilgrimage in Borovy.

Culture

Two historic granaries known as Špíchary have been preserved in Borovy. One of the two preserved historic granaries has been reconstructed.

There are three memorial plaques in Borovy commemorating victims of the Second World War. The memorial plaques are visible from the road.

The Prokop Mill complex in Borovy includes a three-storey main mill building. Next to the main building stands a two-storey flour store dating from 1897.

The Borovská lípa is a 19-meter-high memorial tree in Borovy.

Trails

Borovy has forest and farm roads as well as marked hiking trails that make it possible to cross the landscape. A 12-kilometer marked hiking route begins at Borovy railway station and leads via Mezihoří to Švihov.

Borovy is one of the municipalities served by the priority long-distance cycle route CT 38. The route runs from Plzeň via Klatovy, Nýrsko and Železná Ruda.
