Road III/1712 branches off from road II/171 and leads to Rovná.

A green-marked hiking trail runs through Rovná. A hiking route that passes through Rovná is 18.5 kilometers long.

History

Rovná was first mentioned in writing in 1379 under the name “Rowna.” The historical forms “Ruwna,” “Růvná,” and “Růvno” are also documented for the settlement; “Růvná” is still a local name for Rovná today.

The historic center of Strážov has been designated an urban heritage conservation zone since 2003. Dvorecký mlýn stands on the site of a former fortress.
