Soběkury: Hotels and accommodations
The Chapel of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Soběkury is a late Baroque, octagonal central building with a domed roof and lantern. It was built in 1826–1827 at the expense of the municipality.
Culture and history
The Reconciliation Stone of Soběkury is a granite block with a carved four-armed cross. It marks the place where a wandering weaver was robbed and killed.
At the eastern edge of the Kvíčová Forest near “U rybníčků” stands a memorial stone for Jakub Rada, approximately 3 km west of Soběkury. It commemorates Jakub Rada, who was killed by a tree in 1704.
Cycling and winter sports
The cycle route known as “Dětská” runs between Dnešice and Merklín through Soběkury. In addition, cycle route 2185 from Přeštice to Staňkov passes through Soběkury at kilometer 8. A duration of 113 minutes is specified for this route.
Soběkury also has a downhill run for skiers and sledders.
Forest and trails
Jahodový vrch is located in the forest and, because of the surrounding trees, does not offer wide views of the landscape. Near Soběkury, an approximately one-kilometer-long trail leads to Jahodový vrch. The trail runs along a forest path suitable for individuals and families with older children, but it is not designed for strollers.
