Culture and townscape

The Church of St. Margaret has Gothic origins and was expanded in 1846 by extending the nave and adding a gallery and a tower. Its furnishings include a three-part Rococo organ from the early 19th century. During restoration, an original pointed-arch Gothic portal entrance was discovered in the wall of the nave.

Ves Touškov’s village square is lined with a number of preserved, valuable traditional rural houses. In a prominent location on the unusually large village square stands the Baroque statue of Saint John of Nepomuk, a work of local significance. The monument stands next to the Church of St. Margaret in the central part of Ves Touškov.
