Mladý Smolivec: Hotels and Accommodation

The marked cycle route 2168 leads from Míšov southwards towards Chloumek and is 19.3 km long in total. The Všerubská Route of the Svatojakubská cesta also passes through Mladý Smolivec; it can be used by hikers travelling southwest from Prague.

The Pod Štědrým Nature Park extends southwest into the cadastral territory of Mladý Smolivec. The Brdy Protected Landscape Area (CHKO Brdy) reaches partially into the northern tip of the cadastral territory of Mladý Smolivec.

The Chapel of St. Lawrence in Mladý Smolivec dates from 1887. The early Gothic Church of St. Giles in Budislavice dates from the second half of the 13th century and has a Rococo high altar with a painting from 1859. The Renaissance Church of the Archangel Michael in Dožice was built in the second half of the 16th century and extensively altered in the 19th century. The Baroque Starý Smolivec Château dates from the mid-18th century.

The ground floor formerly housed a small Chapel of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

The Budislavické Rybí slavnosti took place in Budislavice for the eighth time in 2026. This edition featured, among other things, smoked carp, trout, African catfish, carp schnitzel, grilled mackerel, carp fries, fish tartare, salad, gobies and fish soup.

At BUDIFEST 2026, beer and wine were available, as well as smoked specialities straight from the smokehouse, sausages, grilled Hermelín cheese and fries.

The traditional Pochod z obce do obce walking event took place for the 14th time in December 2025. The 2025 edition began in Budislavice and headed towards Mladý Smolivec.
