Pojbuky-Blatnice: Hotels and Accommodation

The 22 km-long Bolzanova cesta hiking trail runs from Mladá Vožice via Blatnice and Těchobuz to Pacov. Those choosing Pojbuky-Blatnice as a destination and wishing to book a hotel can use the local information to help make their choice.

Trails and Ponds

The “Mozaika krajiny” educational trail begins in Těchobuz and follows a blue-marked hiking route to the Blatnice pond system. It is 2.5 km long and takes approximately one hour. Six information boards cover ecosystems, fauna and flora.

A recommended hiking route leads through a recreational area with numerous forest ponds to Těchobuz. The “Blatnicke rybniky” multicache takes hikers on an approximately half-day tour through the pond landscape between Mladá Vožice and Pacov.

Swimming is possible in Kozák Pond next to Blatnice Campsite. The Blatnice Campsite grounds have a jetty and access to the pond; canoes, a kayak and rowing boats are available for free use.

Nature

The ponds around Blatnice are connected by water channels, some of them underground, and can be explored on foot or by bicycle along asphalt and forest paths. The pond landscape near Blatnice is considered a habitat for waterbirds, including black storks, grey herons, kingfishers and several species of ducks.

The Blatnice area borders Kozák Pond to the south, which is part of the LBK3 ecological corridor.

Culture and History

Kozákův mlýn stands in the middle of Blatnice on the Blatnice watercourse. It has been documented in church registers since 1639.

At Kačer Pond stood the mill of Šimon Kačer at the beginning of the 17th century; it was entered in the land register of the Mladá Vožice estate in 1620.
