Dolní Novosedly in the northern foothills
Dolní Novosedly is located in the northern foothills of the Písecké hory. Part of the Písecké hory is protected as a nature park. Hiking and cycling
Cycle Route 2 is 34 km long. Cycle Route 2 is moderately difficult and suitable for mountain bikes and trekking bikes. On its return journey to Písek, Cycle Route 2 passes through Dolní Novosedly. The former Kolářík Inn is decorated with murals inside and out. The former Kolářík Inn is currently used for recreational purposes and is not open to the public. The arrangement around the irregular courtyard shapes the architectural coherence of the farmstead.
There are a total of eight memorial crosses of various designs in Dolní Novosedly. Most of the memorial crosses in Dolní Novosedly date from the 19th century. Some of the memorial crosses presumably served to mark crossroads.
