The Hrutkov village heritage conservation zone encompasses the entire built-up area of the municipality; the modern agricultural production area is excluded. The predominant buildings in the historic village ensemble are Neoclassical and date mainly from the 1820s to the 1840s.

The historic village settlement of Hrutkov was laid out according to a strip-field plan around an irregularly oval village green approximately 250 metres long. The Neo-Gothic Chapel of Saint Joseph became a defining building of Hrutkov in the 19th century. As a cemetery chapel, it has a pentagonal central structure on the outside and a decagonal one inside. The protected complex includes the chapel, a mortuary, a cross, a boundary wall with a gate, a retaining wall, and the enclosed plot.

Nature

The Lískovec summit is located in the vicinity of Hrutkov. It is 562 metres high and offers a beautiful view of Jindřichův Hradec.

Sportovní areál Hrutkov has a wake park with a two-pylon tow lift and qualified instructors; it also includes a beach volleyball court. Sportovní areál Hrutkov also offers the opportunity to go fishing.

The “Z Kaprouna do Jindřichova Hradce” walking trail leads through Česká Kanada from Kaproun via Kunějov, Kačlehy and Hrutkov to Jindřichův Hradec.

The Jindrova stezka trail runs via Jindřichův Hradec, Jindřiš, Malý Ratmírov, Vlčice, Střížovice, Lomy, Kunějov, Kačlehy, Hrutkov and Otín back to Jindřichův Hradec. Between Hrutkov and Horní Pěna, part of the route runs along the main road towards Nová Bystřice. The route from Malý Ratmírov to Jindřichův Hradec leads via Blažejov, Hospříz, Hrutkov, Horní Pěna, Dolní Pěna, Horní Žďár and Jindřichův Hradec.
