Hrusova Lhota: Hotels and Accommodation

Reeds, cattails and sweet flag grow at the Jednotský pond; six mature pedunculate oaks stand on its dam. Among the most valuable green structures in Hrušova Lhota are also an oak avenue on the dam of the Olšovec pond and three oaks north of House No. 21.

The buildings that shape the character of the village include several traditional farmsteads and cottages, as well as a chapel. These include the buildings with house numbers 1, 12, 11, 16, 10, 4, 3, 24, 18, 7, 6, 21 and 25. Two existing recreational areas with recreational buildings are designated within the settlement: one southeast of the settlement and one above the Hliněný pond to the northeast.

Hrušova Lhota was first mentioned in 1422. Known as Lhota Frydlova, the village belonged to the Choustník estate from the 15th century onward.

On 13 August 1593, Petr Vok z Rožmberka sold Hrušova Lhota, together with its associated people, villages, meadows, orchards, dues, forests and an inn, to Jindřich Vrchotický z Loutkova for 1,400 shock. In 1622, the Vrchotický family estate was confiscated after the Battle of White Mountain and pledged to the town of Soběslav. In 1636, the estate was sold to Magdalena Vrchotická ze Svárova and subsequently joined with the Lžín estate. On 9 March 1911, Hrušova Lhota was separated from Lžín and thereafter administered as an independent municipality.
