Krátošice: Hotels and accommodations

In 1415, Mikuláš z Krátošic signed a letter of complaint that the Bohemian estates sent to Constance after Jan Hus was burned at the stake. The Church of Svatý Jan is located in the wider regional surroundings of Krátošice.

Mount Hora is located in the immediate vicinity of Krátošice. The surrounding area also includes the mountain (K Doubravě) [Radenín-Bítov], Podstupský vrch and Hůrka.

The nearest railway station for travel to Krátošice is Doubí u Tábora on railway line 220, Prague–České Budějovice. From there, a route of approximately 6 kilometers via Košice on district roads leads to Krátošice.

The cycling tour “Through the deep forest to Choustník Castle” continues from Brandlín to Krátošice and includes a turnoff to the lookout tower. On this excursion, route 1183 continues at the intersection toward Košice.
