Paths and nature

Two KČT routes run along road III/1546: Route 1128 leads from Chvalkov to Kamenná, while Route 1191 leads from Kamenná to Rychnov u Nových Hradů.

The approximately six-kilometre-long educational trail Krajinou humanity runs through the landscape around Chvalkov, Kamenná, Kondrač, and Slavče. The trail passes through varied terrain. At 682 metres, Kondračská hora is one of the viewpoints along the educational trail. In favourable weather conditions, the České Budějovice Basin, the Třeboň Basin, and the Novohrad Mountains can be seen from a viewpoint on Kondračská hora.

Culture

The settlement of Kondrač, which belongs to the municipality of Kamenná, is home to the Church of the Holy Trinity, kostel Nejsvětější Trojice in Czech. It is considered an important cultural monument; its furnishings are mostly neo-Gothic and date from 1866 to 1868.

The educational trail also has a cultural and historical focus: The educational trail Krajinou humanity presents seven important humanists from around the world on seven information panels. The Staročeská koleda is held regularly in Kamenná during the carnival season.

The Zaječí pramen Chapel, built in the South Bohemian Baroque style, is located near Kamenná on the eastern side of Kamenská hora. The path to this chapel leads from Žumberk through the vicinity of Kamenná; it branches off from the blue-marked trail before Kamenná.

The settlement of Kamenná was a typical old German settlement with two rows of farmsteads along a road approximately 600 metres long. On weekdays, 14 bus services between Trhové Sviny and Rychnov u Nových Hradů are listed in Kamenná.
