The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (Nanebevzetí Panny Marie) in Modrá Hůrka was originally a Gothic church from the first half of the 14th century. It was later remodeled in the Renaissance style and, around 1744, in the Baroque style.

Opposite the church stands a stately Baroque rectory, locally called “zámeček,” which was remodeled in 1701. Modrá Hůrka also has an old bell dating from the last quarter of the 15th century.
