Mazelov preserves a cohesive ensemble of brick vernacular architecture from the 18th and 19th centuries, featuring elements of South Bohemian peasant Baroque. Krčín Pond is located in the cadastral area of Mazelov. Near Mazelov, it is suitable for fishing. A local road from Mazelov to Záblatí runs across the dam of Krčín Pond. The pond was created by Krčín in 1582–1583.
