Rančice is a collection of farmsteads. Anyone considering the village as a place to stay may want to book a hotel for their visit.

Culture

A listed granary at House No. 3 in Rančice dates from 1780. The single-story, elongated rectangular building has a gabled roof. Beneath a newer roof, it preserves stone enclosing walls and masonry gables from an originally smaller building dating from the late 18th century.

In the Kouty area between Kamenný Újezd and Zlatá Koruna, there is an unusually high concentration of monuments of late medieval rural architecture.

Nature

The Rančický stream flows west of Rančice. North of Rančice, it flows into the Vltava from the right. Rančice lies in a varied landscape with a high proportion of forests, meadows, and bodies of water.

Agriculture

At the Rančice Angus Farm, Aberdeen Angus beef cattle are raised organically. The farm sells meat and meat products directly from the farm. The farmsteads in Rančice also include horse breeding.

Getting Around

The “Around the Vltava to ‘Kouty’ and the Blanský Forest” circuit passes through Rančice. At the farm in Rančice, several horses were available for visitors to ride recreationally.
