Sports and Events
The Ločenický duathlon took place on July 20, 2024, and July 12, 2025, at the sports field in Ločenice; the competition combined running and cycling.
On June 28, 2025, a traditional exhibition of stationary engines, including demonstrations of how they work, took place at the village square complex in Ločenice.
Culture
The volunteer fire brigade of Ločenice maintains the Staročeská koleda every year as a Masopust tradition. During the event, participants go from house to house to brass band music, accompanied by people in costumes. In the evening, it ends with a dance party at the local inn.
In 1974, the Staročeská koleda was broadcast live on Czechoslovak Television. In 1965, the Květena folklore ensemble was founded in Ločenice for Doudleby songs and dances.
Church and Remembrance
The Chapel of Saint Agnes of Bohemia in Ločenice was completed and solemnly consecrated in 1997. Services are held in the chapel regularly once a month. A pilgrimage Mass takes place near the feast day of Saint Agnes of Bohemia on November 13.
The memorial to those who fell in the First World War in Ločenice commemorates 29 local residents who lost their lives in the war. The bust of T. G. Masaryk at the memorial was ceremonially unveiled again on March 11, 1990.
