Na opukách is a landscape-significant area with scattered greenery and fragments of non-forested communities. Access to Na opukách is unrestricted; by car, the site can be reached to within 250 m. Culture and History

The original milling equipment and the remains of a water-wheel shaft have been preserved at Seberův vodní mlýn. The Seberův vodní mlýn mill complex on the Volyňka River and the mill race comprises a residential building, a mill building, a granary and farm buildings. The Seberův vodní mlýn watermill has been preserved in its 1852 form; later alterations mainly involved raising the mill building.

In 1875, Joáchym Miniberger from Volyně established a branch leather factory in Nišovice on the Tuláků louka meadow and simultaneously bought the Tuláků mill; the factory remained in the family’s possession until 1922. The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius on the village green in Nišovice was renovated from 2011 to 2014. In the direction of Volyně stands the Boží muka wayside shrine.

Routes

Cycle Route 1247 passes through Nišovice along the Nišovice–Volyně–Předslavice route. A circular tour begins at Nišovice railway station and follows the Volyňka River on the red-marked hiking trail and Cycle Route 121.
