Culture and History

On the outskirts of Novosedly nad Nežárkou stands the Church of Saint Wenceslas, dating from 1867. In the central part of the village, it is one of the listed buildings. The forge on the village green dates from the 19th century; as a former forge, it is a listed historic building on the village green of Novosedly nad Nežárkou.

The Church of the Betrothal of the Virgin Mary was built by Vavřinec Habel between 1744 and 1769. It is a large granite block in the forest south of Kolence, on the path to the Smitka forester's lodge at Rožmberský rybník.
