Příbraz is situated in a flat, marshy landscape. Behind Příbraz are peat bogs, remnants of the former swamps and marshes. Příbraz lies a few kilometres outside the boundary of the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area.
Culture and History
The oldest written record of Příbraz dates from 1518. Farmhouse No. 12 is listed in the Central Register of Immovable Cultural Monuments. The Hus Congregation is a chapel of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and was built in 1925.
The Chapel of the Sacred Heart of the Lord is made of 66 larch slats, was consecrated on 26 June 2014, and is located on the outskirts of Příbraz.
