Nature

Pláničský rybník is a nature reserve. This nature reserve protects valuable stands of aquatic and riparian vegetation as well as characteristic aquatic and wetland animals. The population of the critically endangered aquatic plant stulík malý receives priority protection there.

Paths and routes

The Světlík Educational Trail is an easy trekking route with a length of 26 km. It leads through Muckov, Světlík, Pasovary, the Bobovec bog, Pláničský rybník, Jámy and Plánička.

Plánička is a refreshment stop along the route and is located 300 m off the trail in the direction of Frymburk.

Gastronomy

The Penzion Plánička restaurant offers specialties inspired by Czech and international cuisine, including trout and salmon. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace overlooking the forest.
