Geographical Location

Two narrow roads lead from Černá v Pošumaví to Radslav: one via Bližná and one via Jestřábí.

Nature and Trails

The Jestřábí Circuit is 8 km long and can be completed by a family at a leisurely pace by bicycle in less than 50 minutes. The route to the ferry landing in Dolní Vltavice leads from Jestřábí via Radslav and Bližná; it passes through unspoilt nature along the right bank of the Vltava.

The most demanding climb of the Jestřábí Circuit to Radslav is rewarded with a viewpoint overlooking Radslavská Bay and Vltavská Bay. The Jestřábí Circuit also includes Radslavské odpočívadlo, an interesting rest area with a view.

Culture and History

The holiday settlement of Radslav was established after the flooding of the Lipno Reservoir on the site of the former settlement of Ratschlag. The reconstruction of the Radslav chapel was completed in September 1995. The individually protected Lípa Radslav lime tree stands on the village square next to the local chapel.

The chapel in Radslav currently contains a map of Radslav's original buildings from before the area was flooded by the Lipno Reservoir.

Other places in the same destination area: Mokrá, Muckov, Plánicka, Dolní Vltavice, Blizna.

To the main travel overview: Cerna V Posumavi.
