Marked hiking trails run through Sudoměřice u Tábora. The longer route “Along the Romantic Trail around Borotín” begins at Sudoměřice u Tábora railway station. From there, it initially follows the yellow trail markers; after 1.3 km, at the Černý les junction, it continues along the red trail markers to the ruins of Borotín Castle.
The 10 km route of the “Běh Údolím vzdechů” run leads through the valley of the Černý potok, along the Vzdechů Avenue and through the adjacent forests towards Moraveč. The Stříbrná osmička educational trail also begins in Sudoměřice u Tábora. It is an approximately 50 km circular route providing information about the region of historic silver mining between Tábor and Mladá Vožice.
Sudoměřice u Tábora is also the birthplace of architect Josef Fanta.
Events
The Sudoměřický triathlon reached its 37th edition on 11 July 2026. A 33rd and a 34th edition had already taken place, making the triathlon a recurring local sporting event. The “Běh Údolím vzdechů” run was held for the 10th time on 1 May.
