Culture

The Church of the Most Holy Trinity is a late Gothic church dating from 1526, built on the site of an older chapel. It has a single-nave layout, a five-sided chancel with a sacristy, and a clock tower more than 34 metres high. As a protected cultural monument, it is also a type of church rarely found in the region; outside the settlement, it was built in two construction phases.

The Panský zemědělský dvůr is a protected cultural monument and comprises residential and agricultural buildings surrounding a rectangular courtyard. The Baroque statue of Saint Florian is also a protected cultural monument and a distinctive feature shaping the village square.

A fortress is said to have already stood in Drnovice at that time; it was first mentioned in 1391.

Nature

The Lysická obora preserves a particularly valuable and diverse mix of culturally influenced and near-natural forest stands of different ages, old avenues, and remnants of the original park. It is a unique refuge for birds. As a nature monument, it extends over 1.108 ha of forest area into the cadastral territory of Drnovice.

The Lysicko Nature Park extends into the territory of the municipality of Drnovice in its western part.

Cycling Route

Cycling Route No. 5141 leads from Kunštát via Zbraslavec, Drnovice, Lysice, Žerůtky and Býkovice to Černá Hora. It has six rest areas, five of them covered, twelve information boards, and the necessary amenities.
