Swimming is possible in the 6-hectare pond in SuchĂ˝. At the same time, the village is surrounded by the extensive forests of the Drahany Highlands; particularly to the west, views open out across the landscape.

Nature
The terrain around Suchý is hilly and therefore more challenging. The surrounding forests are criss-crossed by marked cycle paths, which mostly run along paved roads. The Hradec Králové–Břeclav cycle route also passes through Suchý.
The Skály mountain is located in the immediate vicinity of Suchý. The Bučà and Skatulec mountains are also nearby. Mount Jedla is located in the wider regional surroundings of Suchý.
Activities
The campsite has a new, high-quality court for tennis and nohejbal. It is in operation and must be reserved at the information centre.
The SuchĂ˝ Information Centre provides tourist information about cycling and ski routes, tourist attractions, excursion tips, accommodation and catering establishments, and transport connections.
The Žďárná–Skály–Suchý educational trail route passed through Suchý.
Culture and History
The vicinity of SuchĂ˝ is home to the PomnĂk obÄ›tem 1. a 2. svÄ›tovĂ© války memorial, the Kaple Panny Marie BolestnĂ© chapel, and the Kostel sv. Petra a Pavla church. The Kuchlov ruins are located in the wider regional surroundings of SuchĂ˝.
The place name Suchý is said to derive from the resettlement of the inhabitants of the former glassmaking settlement of Benýška.
