Radějov is located in the Bílé Karpaty Protected Landscape Area. The local scenery includes both extensive natural areas and several educational trails with different routes and specific informational content.
Nature and landscape
The Radějov Game Park covers 1,565 hectares. It was established in 1989 for the breeding of fallow deer. The Kútky Nature Reserve protects meadow communities of the White Carpathians at the end of the valley of the Mandát stream. Numerous protected and endangered plant and animal species are also protected there.
Educational trails and circular routes
The Oskerušová Educational Trail has two circular routes measuring 3 km and 7 km. The Šumárnická Educational Trail runs through Radějov and has 18 information panels. It is intended for hikers and mountain bikers.
The Bukovina educational trail circular route can, for example, begin in the center of Radějov. From Radějov, it leads to the entrance of the Pusté fallow deer enclosure and through the Kútky Nature Reserve.
