Kotvrdovice: Hotels and Accommodation
Kotvrdovice is located on the edge of the Moravian Karst. The Chapel of the Divine Heart of the Lord houses the altarpiece “Divine Heart” by Mikoláš Medek; the chapel was consecrated on 30 August 1942.

Culture
In 2009, the local chasa association of Kotvrdovice revived the tradition of krojované hody. Masopust in Kotvrdovice includes a masked procession through the municipality, accompanied musically by Olšověnka. The Masopust programme also includes an evening dance and the traditional burial of the double bass.
Activities
An active flying club operates at the sports airfield in Kotvrdovice; sightseeing flights can be arranged there. In Kotvrdovice, those interested can arrange horseback rides with Ms Mergeščíková. Since 2009, a frequently used cycle path has connected Kotvrdovice with Jedovnice.
Events and Local Dates
The Kotvrdovské pálení čarodějnic in April 2025 included children’s competitions, face painting for children, a snake demonstration and a bonfire. The annual food competition “Utopenec Open” takes place at the TŘI SUDY Kotvrdovice airfield. The local KČT Kotvrdovice branch organised the 44th Krajem pod Kojálem hiking march.
