The Biotop Ledce circular trail is 1–2 km long and takes 1–3 hours. This gives Ledce a clearly defined local route alongside historical, natural and traditional themes.

History and culture

In 1351, Ledce was mentioned in connection with its owner, Jindřich of Ledce. At the end of the 18th century, the road from Vienna via Mikulov to Brno passed through Ledce. In the center of the village stands the brick Chapel of Our Lady of Help.

Mount Leskoun is located in the vicinity of Ledce. In the immediate vicinity are the hill (Kaminka) [Pohořelice-Smolín] and the hill (Pizoňky[Syrovice]). Mount Nedánov lies in the broader regional surroundings of Ledce.

The Šatava stream flows around Ledce. Šejba Pond lies east of Ledce. Šimlochy Pond lies northeast of Ledce, in the southeastern part of the forest along the course of the Šatava.

For 2026, the local event “Hody netradičně aneb rozloučení s prázdninami” was announced in Ledce. The annual traditional burning of witches is also one of the local events. Fishing at the local pond is one of the traditional activities held annually in Ledce.
