Lukovany: Hotels and Accommodation

The traditional costume of Lukovany was reconstructed in 2024 based on several surviving pieces of the original costume and written descriptions that were found. At the 2024 celebrations, reconstructions of the Lukovany costumes were presented together with local children's and youth folklore, a performance of the fair ritual, and songs and dances that were formerly sung and performed at celebrations.

The Hornická Stezka trail leads from the Oslava Valley to Bílý potok through the former Rosicko-Oslavany hard-coal mining district and focuses on monuments related to mining history.

The Na Červených [Čučice] hill is located in the immediate vicinity of Lukovany. The surroundings of Lukovany also include the Tempelštejn ruins, the Rabštejn ruins, the Kaple sv. Petra a Pavla Church, and Babí hora mountain.

In the wider regional surroundings of Lukovany are Brno Zoo, Koní hora mountain, and Leskoun mountain.

The 30-kilometre Stezka permoníků circular route passes through Lukovany. The section between Zbýšov and Lukovany runs along stony, very wet forest paths and includes three maintained fords. The Stezka permoníků is suitable for cycling and hiking.

In the forests immediately beyond Lukovany, people gather mushrooms in autumn and pick blackberries in summer. A local pond on the approach road from Zakřany to Lukovany is described as a stop for fishing.
