Culture and history
Archaeological finds of stone weapons provide evidence of settlement in Újezd u Boskovic in prehistoric times.
Northwest of Újezd u Boskovic, there was once a fortified settlement surrounded by a triple ditch. The ditches were two to three meters deep and five meters wide.
The ruins of Doubravský hrad castle lie southwest of Újezd u Boskovic. The castle was built in the second half of the 13th century and fell into disrepair in the mid-15th century.
