Landscape

In the Vápno area, there is Tertiary shelly limestone containing numerous fossils. Adit remains from former iron ore mining are still visible on the western slopes of Spešov.

Culture and History

The Spešov lookout tower combines traditions of carpentry and metalworking with municipal symbols and historical elements. It invites visitors to make a short stop and enjoy views of a varied and rugged landscape. The chapel in Spešov was built in 1856 in memory of the averting of a cholera epidemic.
