Culture and history

The Chapel of Saints Peter and Paul was consecrated on 29 June 2003. The design of its front wall was created by woodcarver Ivo Krajíček. The former mill, with its mill pond, is a work of folk architecture whose exterior appearance has been preserved.

A manorial saltpetre works was located near a mill. The remains of a saltpetre works are located west of Valchov, near a forester’s lodge. The Chapel of St Anne, a church, is also located in the surroundings.
