Tisá: Hotels and Accommodation

The Tiské stěny are a protected natural monument preserving a geomorphologically valuable rock city of high aesthetic significance in Upper Cretaceous block sandstones, with fragments of near-natural ecosystems.

Nature

The Rájecká rašeliniště protected area was designated in 2004 and protects communities of bog vegetation with phytogeographically significant elements in the cadastral area of Tisá. The Tisá region is home to several important climbing areas: Tiské stěny, Ostrov, Rájec and Děčínský Sněžník.

Trails

The Selská stezka is an easy 2.5-kilometre circular trail that is also suitable for families with children. The Naučná stezka Tiské stěny educational trail presents the history of tourism and climbing in the sandstone areas. The European long-distance hiking trail E3 also passes through Tisá.

Culture

Kostel sv. Anny is a late Baroque single-nave church with a polygonally closed presbytery and a side sacristy dating from 1789. Decorative buttons from Tisá could be found in Prague, Berlin, Paris and Milan at the beginning of the 19th century.

Geographical setting

In the wider regional surroundings of Tisá are the mountains Gohrisch, Vrabinec and Scharspitze, as well as Hrad Střekov, Wittigschloß and Weesenstein Castle. Hrad Kysperk is a castle ruin in the vicinity of Tisá. The Osterzgebirge Wildlife Park is a zoo in the wider regional surroundings of Tisá.
