Lavičky: Hotels and accommodations

In the Závist district of Lavičky, a bell tower stands in the center of the district on road III/0026. The building is a cultural monument with registration number 25090/7-4190, has been preserved in its historic form, and can still be used during the municipality’s May devotions and pilgrimage services.

Lavičky is also home to the Church of Saint Zdislava, a modern church built between 1991 and 1994 with an interior wooden structure. Local residents built it with 13,000 hours of unpaid work. On 25 May 1996, it was consecrated as the first church in the world dedicated to Saint Zdislava.

A marked hiking trail leads from Velký Netínský rybník through Závist and Lavičky to Velké Meziříčí. The “In the Footsteps of Pilgrims” route is considered a half-day tour for hikers, cyclists, and families with small children. It leads from Velké Meziříčí through Lavičky and Závist to Netín and back.

The “Along the Literary Creators’ Trail” cycling route runs through Lavičky and Závist, past ponds, and onward to Netín.

The mountains Dědkovská hora, Ambrožný, Panský kopec, and Hradiště are located in the surroundings of Lavičky. Smetanovy sady Park is also situated in the wider regional area.

The traditional Lavičská pouť took place from 22 to 24 May 2026 in Lavičky. The 2026 Lavičská pouť began at the local festival grounds with an open-air film screening.
