Rosička: Hotels and accommodation
Rosička is located in the western part of the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands.
Nature
To the west of the settlement rises Rosička Hill, at 645 metres above sea level. It is also the second-highest point in the microregion. The Rosička lookout tower is located on the hill of the same name near the village of Rosička. It was built in 2001 as a 42-metre-high telecommunications mast. Its observation platform is 24 metres above ground and can be reached via 140 steps.
The Babín educational trail is an easy, six-kilometre-long hiking route with six stops. It passes through the best-preserved natural areas of the Žďárské vrchy and familiarises visitors with the special importance of forests, peat bogs, wetlands and ponds. Babín Pond and Matějovský Pond form a nature reserve that protects a peat bog as well as plants, animals and waterfowl.
Culture
The Chapel of the Virgin Mary stands in the middle of Rosička village square. Traditional hand bell ringing is still practised there today. The chapel was probably built around the middle of the 19th century.
