Hostačov: Hotels and Accommodation

Hostačov Chateau is classified as a protected cultural monument. It was built after the mid-16th century on the site of a Gothic fortress or Gothic manor house. Heřman Bohdanecký of Hodkov bought the fortress in 1557 and gradually converted it into a chateau.

The original buildings at Hostačov included an estate farm, a brewery, an inn, and a fortress. The chateau has a courtyard surrounded on three sides, on both the ground and upper floors, by pillar arcades. From 1846, the Hostačov estate included a sugar factory, considered one of the first in the Čáslav region.

Today, the Hostačov grounds cover 12 hectares of parkland. The Hostačov grounds include forest paths for walking.

The Hostačov disc golf course is located immediately next to Hostačov Chateau. It is designed primarily for competition players; complete beginners can also play the first nine holes. The Hostačov disc golf course was listed as open daily from 7 a.m. until dusk; reservations were required.

Hostačov's events program includes multi-day research retreats and training courses with overnight accommodation in spring and autumn. In summer, Hostačov opens its grounds for festivals, conferences, and weddings. In summer, the Hostačov grounds can accommodate outdoor events with up to 250 people.

Hostačov is approximately 70 minutes from Prague by train or car.
