Olešenka: Hotels and Accommodations

The founding of Olešenka was connected with the flourishing of mining in the region. Charcoal for silver smelters was produced in the forests of Olešenka. The village also has a chapel with a bell tower and sculptures from the 18th century.

The landscape of Olešenka includes four retention basins that slow down water runoff and promote infiltration. Several ponds divide Olešenka's rectangular village square. In the cadastral area of Olešenka, the planned VN1 water retention facility is located in a natural valley channel along the Olešenský potok stream.

The mountains of Rosička, Světka, Blažkov, and Vysoká are located in the vicinity of Olešenka. The approximately 604-meter-high Strážky hill offers extensive views. The planned HC3 field path follows the route of a vanished historic path and connects Olešenka with Ronov nad Sázavou.
