Růžená: Hotels and accommodations
In Růžená, the Church of St. Mary Magdalene dates from the early 13th century. It has been rebuilt several times, features Romanesque elements, and is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. The church is located within the cemetery grounds.
Culture and history
The Růžená war memorial was erected in 1995 in memory of the victims of the First and Second World Wars. A cross with a reconstructed stone base and a metal cross stands by the church. Behind Růžená, on the former road to Třeštice, stands the tall stone Trojanův kříž.
Activities
The Růžená multi-purpose sports field is available to the general public. It is intended for football, nohejbal, volleyball, tennis, basketball, floorball, and badminton.
A traditional pilgrimage is part of Růžená's local event tradition. In addition, a traditional New Year's Eve ascent leads from Růžená to Roštejn.
