Bácovice lies on the left bank of the Hejlovka River. The blue-marked historic trail between Červená Řečice and Pelhřimov passes through the village. Before Bácovice, behind the chapel, there is a turnoff to a viewpoint at an elevation of 574 metres.

The sports field in Bácovice is freely accessible 24 hours a day. Cyclists can take the 53-kilometre route “Trasa po pokladech Pelhřimovska”, which is classified as difficult and passes through the “Bácovice roz.” waypoint.
Culture and History
The preserved Červený Mlýn mill is located in the cadastral area of Bácovice. During a volunteer repair, the field chapel near Bácovice received new interior plaster and new doors. Farmstead No. 3 contains a two-bay barn with a square vault and stone columns with simple capitals dating from the first half of the 19th century.
