Bystrá: Hotels and accommodations

Bystrá is located in the Křemešnická vrchovina, which forms the western part of the Českomoravská vrchovina. The area consists of extensive upland plateaus with several elevations. Smaller settlements in the surroundings of Bystrá are surrounded by a mosaic landscape of fields, meadows, and woodland.

History and townscape

Bystrá is a historic settlement; the first written record dates from 1226. Most of the buildings have retained their historic settlement structure and rural character. Traditional buildings feature elongated floor plans, smooth lime-rendered façades, and gabled roofs with a roof pitch of approximately 40%. In the eastern part of the settlement, original agricultural farmsteads have been particularly well preserved. On the eastern edge of the settlement, Farmstead No. 10 is designated as a monument of local significance.

Cycling and hiking trails

Hiking and cycling trails run through the Bystrá area. The Pípalka na Křemešníku cycling route leads to a turn-off into the village of Bystrá. The marked cycling route 161 connects Načeradec and Bystrá and serves as a regional connection. Cycling route 5211 connects Kletečná and Bystrá as a local connection.

Roads and transport

Access from Bystrá into the surrounding countryside is relatively good, especially from the east. The landscape around Bystrá contains field and forest roads, most of which are unpaved. Regular bus services operate through the municipality of Bystrá.
